Do you wanna be a pop star? Can you imagine yourself singing on one of the most popular music TV channels in the UK?
Starz TV are running a brand new competition to see who’s the best in the UK at covering the biggest and best pop tunes! If you win, your cover version video will be featured on Starz TV (371 on Sky).
The general public will be invited to vote for their favourite videos, so if you think you’ve got what it takes what’s stopping you from entering? To enter, all you have to do is send us your video file or link by email. If you have already uploaded your video on YouTube, please send us a private link so we can view it online.
Get your videos in right away as the voting will begin on 1st February and will run through the entire month. The winner will be announced in March and the winning video will appear on Starz TV.
This competition will run monthly right through 2012 and the overall winner for the year will be offered a record deal with 360 Records.

We don't know if she rolls her own, but Rihanna's been spotted in Hawaii puffing on a strange-looking cigarette.
Around the same time, she tweeted some lyrics from rapper Drake's song Up All Night: ‘Kush rolled, glass full...I prefer the better things!’
Mmm. 'Kush' may refer to a number of things, one of which could be cannabis.

It's official! Lady Gaga is the world's top Twitter user!
The singer has beaten the likes of Justin Bieber, Katy Perry and Britney Spears to become the first Twitter user to get 18m followers.
Her nearest rivals are Bieber with 16.5m followers on the site, with Perry just short 14m and former Twitter queen Spears with 12.5m.

Katy Perry has wasted no time in finding a successor to her soon-to-be-ex Russell Brand, allegedly.
A Brand lookalike spent New Year's Eve with the serial party goer in LA, while the real Brand was on his own in a hotel room. One guest at the bash told the New York Post: ‘After midnight, Katy and a male friend got on the dance floor, twirling each other around and dancing holding hands.’
By contrast, Russell was stone cold sober. A source told the Daily Mirror: 'He wasn’t up for celebrating and just ordered food to his room. The next morning he was in the gym from 11am and spent two hours there.'
However, Brand could be £20m richer after the divorce goes through as the couple didn't sign a pre-nuptial agreement before their marriage in 2010.

Rihanna could be heading to court again for video plagiarism.
It's been alleged that the singer's latest video 'You Da One' is remarkably similar to the work of photographer Solve Sundsbo, so a legal battle could be beckoning.
Last year, RiRi was sued by photographer David LaChapelle over claims she stole his work in her video for 'S&M'.

Not content with retching in her video 'We Found Love', Rihanna has been chucking her guts up again, apparently.
While performing her hit single on stage in Portugal, "What's My Name," RiRi suddenly felt the urge to puke.
Rihanna confirmed it via Twitter later: "Yep! I ran off stage to throw up, halfway thru Whats My Name," she wrote to a fan. "Made it back juuuust in time for RudeBoy."

Adele seems to have reinvented herself since her throat surgery, judging by her new look.
The singer tweeted: ‘Back on the grind. Hair and make-up did. Merry Christmas!’
Fans will have to wait a while for the 23-year-old's next release though, as she recently told Billboard: 'I'm really looking forward to some time to do nothing. I imagine I'll be 25 or 26 by the time my next record comes out, as I haven't even thought about my third record yet.'

Katy Perry's 'dating rules' are apparently being tried out by her friend Rihanna, who's been less-than-lucky in love.
A source told more! magazine: 'Rihanna's been saying that she'll be all alone over the holidays, so Katy has told her to follow her dating rules in 2012 to ensure she finds a man.
'Katy thinks Rihanna should play the field and has told her: "Make sure they know you're dating other men and get them to fight over you."
'No more testosterone-driven athletes or performers. Try an accountant!' Katy supposedly told RiRi.
Katy also reportedly advised RiRi to withhold sex from her dates: 'Ri has openly said how much she loves sex, but Katy's told her she needs to be a tease.
'At the end of the night, she [Rihanna] must go home and leave him wanting more.'
