Fugative
|
Fugative blasted on to the music platform in early 2008, with his massive hit, ‘It’s Summertime’, at an unprecedented pace from absolutely no-where. So much so, that not only did the song shoot straight in, with a bullet at No 2 in the music urban charts, it went on to sustain the No.5 position for the next 16 weeks throughout the UK, which created an immediate overnight fan-base and grabbed the amazed interest of Radio 1 DJ Nick Grimshaw, resulting in a studio interview at Radio 1 with him, and leading to Fugative opening up their Switch Summer Road Show.
The huge fan-base that Fugative has acquired has been done before any full radio play.
Fugative’s music genre is of his own invention – ‘Hip-Pop’, a unique and new category of music, as he quotes …“Hip-Hop…with commercial Pop twist”!
Always the pioneer, Fugative is not only the artist, but also the songwriter and the producer of his own material. Couple this with his very own production label, Runaway Productions and record label, to boot; he is in a league of his own.
‘Jimmy Shoe’ is the new long-awaited single, with the video recently being shot by video director, ‘Mo’, together with a film documentary of it’s name sake!
Currently, alongside all of this, Fugative is also headlining an array of Luminar’s UKCC Liquid & Envy venues, and creating mass-hysteria, with girls queuing after the shows for autographs.
Fugative has also been diligently collaborating with various artists and producers, just now, completing another track of the Fugative ‘magic’, for his debut album, already near completion ‘Ain’t No Going Home’ his music storyboard.
